I'm Samuel, a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience building production-grade applications. I specialize in the TypeScript ecosystem, from NestJS backends and Angular frontends to Next.js full-stack applications.
My work centers on clean architecture, domain-driven design, and writing code that teams can maintain and extend confidently. I care deeply about developer experience, from local tooling to CI/CD pipelines.
Open source is my daily workflow: 200+ merged pull requests on public repositories, including two TypeScript fixes merged into Automattic's Mongoose, a feature shipped in the official NestJS cache-manager package, and core contributions across the Ever Co. ecosystem. When a framework blocks me, I fix it upstream.
When I'm not coding, I write technical articles on Dev.to and Zabibu, sharing what I learn about TypeScript, Angular, NestJS, and software architecture patterns.

Active contributor to production open-source projects used by developers worldwide.
Merged into Mozilla Firefox: migrated the DevTools stylesheets and shipped themed SVG icons to the modern space-separated CSS color syntax, verified pixel-identical in Firefox. Landed by a Mozilla DevTools reviewer.
Type-system fixes merged into the MongoDB ODM used by millions of projects, maintained under Automattic. Keeping Model.schema typed when the schema generic is omitted, and making document types respect the schema toObject and toJSON options.
Contributions to official NestJS packages. Cacheable instances with non-blocking mode in cache-manager, which I needed in production and contributed upstream instead of forking, and a ModelWithSchema proposal in the Mongoose integration, resolved by my own upstream mongoose fix instead.
Reads coord_dimension when loading PostgreSQL and CockroachDB spatial columns, so dimensional geometry types are introspected correctly instead of retriggering the same migration forever. Extended to CockroachDB at maintainer request.
Two fixes merged on GitLab into WikiSuite, the Tiki and Virtualmin server suite. The documented install script now works under sh, its POSIX root check, and it fails with a clear message when no fully qualified domain name is available.
Open-source business management platform used by 1,000+ teams. Core contributor across authentication and session security, two-layer caching, Redis hardening, performance, and Angular product surfaces.
Open-source translation management platform. API performance improvements and bulk import and export for translation workflows.
Real-time collaboration and time-tracking platform. Contributions across the Next.js frontend and the NestJS API for task and time management.
Editing and expanding Wikipedia articles, improving accuracy in the world’s largest free encyclopedia. Access to knowledge should not depend on where you live.
